Actually his care needs has increased so shouls be eligible for higher rateso have to re apply and now that he has just turned 3 can also apply for mobility.Who can help me to fill out the forms?Somebody who is in the autism field?.Shall I put in the form the diagnosis i got in Italy or this might upset somebody? Thanks again for your replies.Have one more question.Where can I find a private speech language therapist?I thing what hes doin at nursery is not enough i mean in terms of speeche therapy.Do you thing that having more hours of speech therapy can help me to develop speech or it depends more on my child skills? Thanks again.Barbara To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe From: bobsallyeva@...Date: Thu, 4 Dec 2008 11:51:28 +0000Subject: Re: Re: About having another child. You get a virtually free car with the top level of mobility. It's not £47 a week. That's why they fight it so much. You are entitled to Motorbility (I think that's what it's called). A car of your choice maintained by them for a £300 deposit.Sallybrownsauce66 wrote:>> Yes it was!>> Just to let you all know we won our case for the higher rate mobility> component of DLA. Guest guest
Contactafamily are a charity for families with handicapped children. They will give phone advice on filling in forms. Ask them re the Italian diagnosis. You do need to produce a supporting statement but that can be from a nursery teacher Sally Barbara Canepa wrote: > > Hi again, > > Thanks again for your replies and all your support. > > I dont really mind having a car because i dont even drive so its not > want i want.Have to fight for higher care allowence because my son > needs care 24/7.
