Guest guest
Now get this. Had a simple blood test run last week, called this morning to get the results. Had been told by doctor just to call and give my fax number, no problem. Guess again, kidlets. New policies are dictated by the " new " privacy law(s) enacted what, a year, two ago? But get this - they will fax results to ANYONE, any health practitioner ... but not to me, whose information it IS. End result, I'm making a special trip at the crack of 8 tomorrow to pick up my OWN BLOOD WORK RESULTS. I have to pick them up, they won't fax them to me. They're " not allowed " . And this makes sense HOW? How in the world does " protecting your medical information " translate to giving your medical information to everyone BUT you, without having to jump through hoops? *rant over* MFJ Any moment in which you feel like dancing is a perfect moment. Singing works, too.
