Guest guest
Dear Bee and Heidi, Heidi, she did test him for gluten and he had no allergic reaction, nor did I, so I'm hoping that's ruled out. Thanks for mentioning it. Bee, my TBM doctor checked both ds and I for a Candida allergy - I had it, but he didn't. (I knew I had it from 1998, when I did some skin testing.) She cleared it for me, so I just need to watch myself (my diet, I mean) since I lean that way. Which is of course part of why I'm getting into NT. Most candida diets failed me in the past, I think maybe becasue they leaned too much toward vegetarianism and low-fat. I was always so hungry and unsatisfied. I read your article with interest. My TBM has also cleared me for mold. (I've always been allergic to penicillin, but I didn't catch on to the mold allergy until 1998, while living miserably in a basement. Though it's an obvious connection.) There is a paragraph about yeast not feeding yeast in NT, and some reference to the use of nutritional yeast flakes. I can quote if you like, but if you're familiar with it, can you comment on this? I don't eat a great deal of bread and mostly just sprouted grain bread, but there's still some yeast in there and I haven't noticed it making a difference, not like sugar, white flour and pastuerized dairy do. I actually have a yeast free brown rice bread I just bought, but then I get it home and reread the label and it is sweetened with cane juice or fruit juice, I think. My husband just got me a food processor for my birthday, and I would like to try to make my own quick bread. Anyway, thanks for your response. Thanks for mentioning it. Was this person jest tested for gluten or was he tested for gluten and genetically modified gluten. There are cases where they may be absolutely fine with the real thing but have reaction to GMO. Interesting case study in the book Seeds of Deception by about a young girl who was supposedly allergic to milk (probably was store bought pasteurized and possibly she was potassium deficient but that is another issue) so the mother followed doctor's orders and put her on soy milk. The daughter started getting open weeping sores after that. They tested her for soy milk and she tested fine. This went on for a while and the mother dropped the soy milk intake to 1/4 and the sores started to go away so she took her off it all together. What they did not test her for was genetically modified soy - which was what she was drinking. 80% of all soy is modified. Corn as well. -- Warm Regards, Bethanne Elion Psychic Medium for Animals and People Nutrition for Cats and Dogs Vermont USA

It depends on who is writing it..... >>>>I read your article with interest. My TBM has also cleared me for mold. It depends upon the kind of test and the lab, but then again I am a medical-test skeptic..... > There is a paragraph about yeast not feeding yeast in NT, and some reference to the use of nutritional yeast flakes. I don't have much time to check this board so if you could put a good subject line in so I can find it that would be great. Thanks a bunch. I don't know what yeast flakes are. Are they different than regular yeast for raising bread?....... >>>I don't eat a great deal of bread and mostly just sprouted grain bread, but there's still some yeast in there and I haven't noticed it making a difference, not like sugar, white flour and pastuerized dairy do.
