I did a quick check and discovered there is a genetic compotent to half of the people who get xanthelasma. It is sometimes caused by abnormaladies in the lipids, especially HDL. I would suggest you do more research, which I guess you are trying to do by starting here! Maybe writng to Walt Stoll would help. I know I would go out side the regular medical realm to sovle this problem.
