Hi! My name is from OH, I've watched the list for about a week now, and decided to add some input.

A little about my background -- I've been in chronic pelvic/back pain for 4 years now. Also, CFS and fibermyalgia. My usually meds include Estrogen, (since I had the wonderful pleasure at age 28 to have a hysterectomy), ultram, celebrex, and occasionally, which lately has almost been daily, zanax, percocet, and some sleeping pills. There are some days that the percocet just doesn't seem to be enough, and days that I can feel real spacey. I think its just what my body requires at certain times. I can take percocet all day for a week and the week could be consist of Monday - moveable, Tuesday, can't move, Wednesday feel terrific, go walk at the gym and go to yoga, Thursday, feel semi-ok, work around the house, Friday - high as a kite from the same amount of meds I took all week long. I guess the more your body needs of pain meds, the less spacey you feel. I know, so many people have told me, when I was in the hospital, which after 5 surgery, emergencies, and which I think they reserve my usually room at the hospital for me ;-), that my injections of Phentenal, and Demerol 100 mg each, would knock my 120 pound body on the floor and my heart would probably stop, by the way when I finally found a doc that would give me what I required, to be --normal, which was not totally out of pain, but comfortable, He was amazed that I was up walking around feeling normal after all the meds.

So I guess, It's what your body requires daily, absorbs what it needs and disregards the rest (which might make you feel a little spacey), that's how it always seems to be for me!

Happy Pain-Free Holidays! - for those that can, and for those that can't deal day by day, and they'll soon be over!
