Guest guest
- <<However, iron's one of those nutrients which it's easier to get from food (the raw liver is an excellent idea) provided you're absorbing. You probably ought to look into your digestion (stomach acid, enzymes, intestinal health, gut flora) before considering direct iron supplementation.>> Thanks . yes perhaps I should go back on the HCl. I stopped when my health got better but perhaps it will help with iron absorption. How would one look into enzymes? As for intestinal health, I'm guessing wind or lack of is a good indicator as well as health and regularity of bowel movements. I'm doing pretty well in this regard so that just leaves enzymes. So is there a way of checking or does one just supplement? - Filippa
