Epsom Salt testing

There is no easy way to test for mercury in your Epsom Salt,

unfortunately. We are not using it right now, but when we did, I ran a sample

through my husbands spectrometer at work (he is a chemist).

I would say, if the salt source say anything about “industrial”

or is for industrial usage (like construction etc), stay away from it, if it

says “natural source” or “harvested (place name)” then

you should be safe, because the naturally occuring impurities are outweighed by

the benefits.
