Guest guest
Hi, Anyone have any idea what causes this in our children? Teeth are brushed twice a day, with non flouride tothpaste, but the stains persist. When we stopped mineral supps they cleaned up for a while but now the yellowing is back, too much or too little of something? It bothers me because he already has enough to contend with, without harrowing trips to the dentist.
Guest guest
Adult teeth are naturally more yellow than milk teeth, btw. Guest guest
Vitamin K made Eddie's teeth white (twice). Took just a few weeks. We use Thorne Vitamin K drops - there's a very interesting vitamin K Yahoo group. Vitamin D made Eddie's teeth discolour and increased his need for vitamin K. We gave him 12 drops (12mg) k2 and they went white again. I'd recommend looking at Weston A Price if you haven't already. Best wishes, Sandy
Guest guest
Sandy, Would it be possible to email you off list, we have a few questions we would like to ask you. What is Weston A Price? > > Vitamin K made Eddie's teeth white (twice). Took just a few weeks. Guest guest
Weston A Price was a dentist in the 20s - an amazing person. Our small jaws and poor teeth are (generalising here) the results of " civilised " diets. Weston A Price surveyed native diets and photographed their fabulous native teeth (no toothpaste or brushes - just a wonderfully natural diet) and showed how the face narrows and the teeth have problems as they change their diet. This was one of the more important things we learnt in the last 3 years. http://www.westonaprice.org/brochures/wapfbrochure.html (see mention of vit k) Also Price- Pottenger is worth a look http://www.ppnf.org/catalog/ppnf/ Do you know about Pottengers cats - when fed cooked food they degenerated and didn't live beyond 4 generations - but when given raw food again they regenerated. Very encouraging how the body can rebuild itself :-) (The Weston A Price Foundation is run by Sally Fallon who wrote " Nourishing Traditions " - A really important book - we gave copies to our family last xmas :-)! ) Happy for you to email.
