Guest guest
I just realized we need to source reference thyroid ranges for children. Don't have time for this now. Shall have to attend later unless someone has already done this. It's not the best to derive B12 from B12 levels. You have to look at MCV and the other measure I forget in your complete blood profile. B12 influences the size and maturity of red blood cells and that's what should be looked at, not the b12 measure itself.. bbrowne123 schrieb: > > oops wasnt finished > > iron 21 (ref: 10-30) so its ok > Ferritin: 48 (ref: 18-325) > > fe saturation: 33 percent (20-50) > > b12: 1112 (ref: 175-750) b12 really high due to oral MB12? > > Thyroid Function test (got this on NHS, cause I bitched) > Free Thyroxine: 14.1 (ref: 9-19) > TSH: 1.864 (ref: 0.4 -4.5) > Triiodothyronine: 2.5 (ref: 0.9 - 2.5) This is high, but dont know > what it is?? > > other results: cortisol: 50 > IGM: 0.46 (ref: 0.5-2.0) (low side) > > Urea: 7.6 (ref: 2.5-6.0) High > > Phosphate: 1.61 (ref: 0.80 - 1.55 ) (always high) > > Hydroxyproline: 56 (ref: 1-25) (always high) used to be 120 > > my boy's red blood count always low, liver enzymes always high, and > Creatinine Kinase, always really high (muscle wasting) > > > > > > > > > > Margaret, > > > > > > > > Thyroxine only supports the T4.
