Guest guest
Oh my. I did meet Dr Jepson in Canada. His presentation was brilliant and moving. I cried the entire time. He also had tears in his eyes adn broke down a bit when speaking of one boy he'd recently helped. The poor child was covered in bruises, had chunks of his face missing-- all from self-injuring caused by gut pain. It was this boy's photo that had much of the room in tears. Anyway, the photo of the boy taken only ten days or so after starting treatment(? can't remember the exact details) told an entirely different story. He was smiling, bright- eyed! His face still looked awful, but he had only scabs and no fresh wounds and his bruises were fading to yellow. What a wonderful mom and dad they are. Such a lucky boy they adopted. I'm all teary-eyed again. Thanks for posting this. We're so fortunate he'll be speaking at the conference. Anita > > Talk about putting your money where your mouth is! What a brilliant > bloke! Guest guest
Hi I'm crying just reading this and I don't know who Dr Jepson is. Please can someone tell me. I'm coming to the conference so looking forward to hearing him talk. Helen x > > > > Talk about putting your money where your mouth is! What a brilliant > > bloke! Guest guest
Hi Helen, Dr. Jepson works out of Thoughtful House now. He wrote " Changing the Course of Autism " . He's just a young guy (he looks about 25!) but is pretty impressive in his knowledge and experience IMO. He'll be giving two talks at our conference.
