Does inhibit klebsiella http://www.naturalfacts.com.au/oliveleaf.html Did a bottle of it along with month of l-glutamine before I went gf to cover any candida relatedness and/or Mercola's Infective Diabetes book review linking diabetes to toxins on grains. Don't remember any Herxheimer effect using olive leaf extract. Felt good and more energetic. Wanita

Guest guest
oregano oil may work here too - did someone already suggest that? Guest guest
Got capsules at Whole Foods, Bread & Circus? Don't remember brand. Think it was 250 mg. You want high oleuropein for the klebsiella. This link has 18%, 400 mg.http://www.asnutrition.com/CategorySubSearch.asp?CategorySub1ID=103 Didn't realize there were different strengths. Guest guest
Thanks. I'll add it to my list of things to try. Chris Re: Olive Leaf Extract and Kleb Got capsules at Whole Foods, Bread & Circus? Guest guest
I thought I heard about that somewhere. Thanks for the reminder. Maybe in combination with the olive leaf could be a one two punch. Along with adding lots of benificial bacteria. Chris Re: Olive Leaf Extract and Kleb oregano oil may work here too - did someone already suggest that? Guest guest
Looks like olive leaf - oregano oil is a one two punch. Google search oregano oil klebsiella like I did with olive leaf brings up hits. Both were in the non pharmaceutical list of the author of Infective Diabetes. I used it on Mokie following a protocol from a guy who works with a lot of animals with health issues. Anyway, I do think it helped her with her dysbiosis. It's REALLY strong - it'll burn your throat if you drink a drop straight. I took it a couple of times, but mixed in a little water. I'm actually thinking of trying it for my bloating, going on the assumption that there may be a bacterial cause of my bloating, in addition to possible food allergies. Suze Fisher Lapdog Design, Inc. The directions on the bottle of Oreganol that I use says you can either put one to several drops under your tongue, or mix with juice or water. I tried it straight, which was fine, but strong. I prefer to mix it in water. For my dog, I just mix it in with her food. --hahhahahahsuze Suze Fisher Lapdog Design, Inc. Web Design & Development http://members.bellatlantic.net/~vze3shjg Weston A. Guest guest
Wanita, Did you take the OLE with meals or away from them? I'm trying it on my dog to try and cure her yeasty ears, and have heard that it's better to give it away from meals - it doesn't seem to help much when given WITH meals :-( and the K9's

IIRC I took it at night a few hours after supper with my nightly cup of herb tea which varies. Not empty, not full. Did get some well being from it even though it was a lower mg and likely lower % oleuperin. Am going to repeat with l-glutamine again. Also thinking of keeping it on hand for colds like link said.
