I used it on Mokie following a protocol from a guy who works with a lot of animals with health issues. Anyway, I do think it helped her with her dysbiosis. It's REALLY strong - it'll burn your throat if you drink a drop straight. I took it a couple of times, but mixed in a little water. I'm actually thinking of trying it for my bloating, going on the assumption that there may be a bacterial cause of my bloating, in addition to possible food allergies. Suze Fisher Lapdog Design .. .. .. Suze and all All essential oils need to be used with knowledge and respect for the several safety issues. THey are NEVER used neat..... always well diluted to about 5% in either an oil or an alcohol (oil and water don't mix, remember?). I have a couple of friends who use PROPERYLY DILUTED essential oil of Oreganum vulgare as a rub on the bottoms of their feet..... the oil is absorbed into the skin and finds it's way to deal with the nasty critters. The best thing I have found for bloating is homemade, fully cultured yoghurt, three times a day. mjh http://foxhillfarm.us/FireBasil/
