Suze, I have been using coconut oil for 3 years now from WFN and it

never bothered me until I ordered the coconut milk from WFN. When I

drank that milk straight, I got naseous at first and then it turned to

diarrhea. From that I learned that I was not absorbing fats! Found out

by going to see an ND that did kinesiology. Accupunture has greatly

improved it. About the candy...I also love it!! Thanks so much for

posting this recipe Katja and for you too Suze for putting amounts of

everything!!

- we use the gum free coconut milk. It is very difficult however to pour

out of the bottle. I had to run it under hot water.

BTW- My husband made the candies last night but added some coconut cream as

well. It made them really fine and they didn't harden up like rocks after we

placed them in the freezer. Very yummy!

You might also want to try their new gum-free coconut milk. They're going

to have gum-free coconut cream soon too.

It seperated somewhat. The first bottle I opened poured wel, the others

haven't but we keep it in a cold basement.

On the mend now with relation to absorbing fats and have started back

trying to drink it straight. Got the " new " gum free (everything free)

coconut milk from WFN in bottles. They arrived yesterday. Tasted it

and it is awesome! Just in time for the summer smoothies! I have been

cooking with the coconut milk all along but was not able to drink it

straight. I was going to order the coconut cream but they were out.

Did it separate? I guess in cooler temperatures the oil would harden after

separation, too. Still, I can't tolerate the gums, so gum-free it'll have

to be. WFN says their supplier has discovered how to emulsify the cream

(and the milk? I don't remember) with the protein fraction, so perhaps that

will successfully prevent separation.

Almost 8 months. That stuff is awesome, just like the new coconut milk

they have in the bottles! The top needs to be a screw off cap and it

it not.

I think my browser must have been displaying cached info. I called WFN and

was told they put up a new link for the pure coconut milk about 3 days ago.

I had checked it earlier today and didn't see it, but just saw it now. I

ordered it! Can't wait!
