Guest guest
Hi Deb, You would think, wouldn't you? Even here on this list, you don't hear ppl saying that they HAVE the problem, they are having gut problems, usually. Which could be anything. I don't think I have heard anyone say here that they for sure KNOW, that an ND has told them or a doctor has told them they have trouble digesting fats and as a result they are doing_____ to improve. In fact I have read here that fat is very easily digested and once you really have the problem, it is very hard to get rid of. I talked to Annette at WFN about it and she agreed that fat was easily digested. You have a point though. For many years most ppl have been eating low fat or trying to avoid it altogether. I don't know if your statement is true about eating enough fat to create the enzymes to digest fat. Have to go look that one up. Guest guest
I think fat is easily digested if you have plenty of lipase and bile being produced. On P12 of N/T Sally says that bile salts are made from cholesterol. I had a feeling that I;d read something else along those lines, but I can't find it now. People here are eating lots of raw fats which have the lipase intact. But when people eat cooked fats, they would be harder to digest. especially as they get older and are not producing as much lipase. I know my mother has a hard time digesting fats. I;ve recntly got her onto digestive enzymes, but i have't heard yet whether she's doing better. deb > > You have a point though. Guest guest
Del- >The way I understand it >, it does not mean to TOTALLY avoid those foods. What said, and it definitely does mean to totally avoid those foods. Those foods are supposed to be toxic, very poisonous, to people of the " wrong " blood type. Of course, any immune reaction can only be taking place when digestion is impaired and proteins are slipping through intact anyway... -

Guest guest
I know ya'll just had a long list of posts about Quality First VCO. I didn't get to read much of it. Was it discovered that it was gum-free? What about the coconut milk and cream from WFN? Not the bottled coconut milk from WFN, though, right?
