Get one with an adjustable thermostat. I have an American Harvester and

am perfectly happy with it. I got my housekeeper one at Goodwill for

$7, brand new (maybe used once but probably not--likely a failed

present), so dig around there, too.

Yes! I've bought several dehydrators from goodwill, yogurt makers too. You

do have to check periodically since they may not have it the first time.

But my dehydrators are the adjustable temp ones with a fan. You just can't

beat 6 to 8 bucks for them!

I've also found great glass jars there...half gallon ones with plastic lids

etc.
