Guest guest
Hi everyone, I decided not vaccinate my daughter when she was born obviously because her older brother has ASD. She is one now. I did not breast feed her because of my epilepsy medication so I gave her formula. I kept her gluten free. When she was consistently spitting up the DAN said it was because of the milk in the formula so I switched her to Soy formula which is not much better but she doesn't spit it up. When she turned one I have her a bit of goats milk for a few days and it upset her tummy so I just gave her water to drink in her cup after that. For the past few months she's been rocking more and more in her high chair and when she's about to crawl. I down know if I'm reading in to things. And she scoots around in circles on her bum when she's excited. Also flaps her hands although I know lots of kids do that at that age. I am wondering if anyone did not vaccinate but still had a child on the spectrum or an LD. Heidi
Guest guest
Hi Heidi, I have 2 sons, the first has Fragile x syndrome and autistic traits that has been helped hugely by diet etc and I was sure the second lad was affected for ages for lots of reasons but it turned out he's a bright and sociable little lad so in this case my fears were just that. I did breastfeed but the high mercury levels in my eldest have come from me as neither of them are vaccinated or been exposed to anything but my toxic self. The younger lad has not however ever had gluten, dairy or soy except for 2 accidents after which came the most horrendous tantrums so I'm not getting complacent about him either! Now your daughter is over one year old would you consider trying her off soy too? Have you tried Darifree? It's all we use now. Guest guest
I have never heard of Darifree. I'll have to look that up and hopefully they have that here in Canada. Thanks for the tips! To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe Sent: Monday, November 10, 2008 5:34:54 PMSubject: Re: Worried about non-vaccinated one yr old girl Hi Heidi, I have 2 sons, the first has Fragile x syndrome and autistic traits that has been helped hugely by diet etc and I was sure the second lad was affected for ages for lots of reasons but it turned out he's a bright and sociable little lad so in this case my fears were just that.
