Guest guest
I was recently making a Cicada purse for my daughter and probably thought more often about 's joy regarding the upcoming cicada crop than I thought about my daughter's joy when she'd receive the purse! And I had the thought, " Will I ever be able to make one of these without thinking of ? " : ) Rhea

When my daughter says that though, I always say, " No dear, when YOU grow up you'll be BETTER because you won't make all the mistakes I made! I dropped in on my parents and ended up eating lunch with them. When Dad started making his sandwich, Mom came along and dropped a handful of fresh picked baby lettuce on the counter. Guess what I was thinking, knowing she had just picked it! We barely have snowdrops and crocuses in the garden, but Mom's been growing some lettuces in the summer living room, just to have fresh vegetables. I was expecting something with Mike quoted extensively, but it turned out to be something about invasive species. Hmmmm, maybe he could help there after all.
