Red raspberry gemmo after miscarriage

Hi - quick question. I have a patient experiencing her second miscarriage (with

one healthy baby in between). The fetus stopped growing at 6 weeks, 5 days.

Bleeding started at 10 weeks in February. With the help of experienced TCM she

has been attempting to expel the uterus without a D & C - acupuncture and TCM

herbs. In late March, I added in Rubus 1/2 tsp bid. She emailed me today:

" About two days in to taking the red raspberry, my bleeding started up again

(not sure if there's a link???). I've been bleeding again for about 10 plus

days now,with yesterday and today being stronger bleeds.

On April 2nd I did a blood test and hormone levels were at 112.

On April 16 - I did the test again and only dropped to 92.

Since the 16th, the bleeding has gotten stronger, "

Thoughts? Does she need to get the D & C or is the Rubus doing what it needs to?
