I noticed that I do get H2S very easely allready from my early youth onwards and some friends of mine - all of which had amalgam mercury poisoning - do as well. I did get the information from Ray and that made me actually consious of this fact and then I realized that it was not a healthy thing that was happening inside my body. It is an effect that happenes with quite a lot of people I noticed and - again - on information of Ray: it is caused by the sulfer pathways of the liver not functioning properly due to damage from mercury and maybe other chemicals. That's all I know and it sounds very plausable to me. Again for extensive information on this you can search the Amalgam List archives. Guest guest
I don't know much about MSM...but the DMSO is really good. I don't think they have the same applications? Isn't MSM a powder good for arthritis? DMSO is much more than a transporter. It's great for bee stings, pain reliever, Antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, collagen softening, and some other things. It works at the cellular level. Just because you need to be careful and get the right stuff doesn't make it bad anymore than getting wild salmon over farmed. Salmon is good...just get the right stuff. Someday I will do some research on MSM to get to know it better as well. Kayte RE: Deep Tissue Oil Formula And if you decide to buy some...it can be expensive and hard to find. Please buy pharmaceutical grade. It is a solvent. Don't buy it if it is stored in a plastic bottle...just the brown glass bottles. It will absorb some of the yummies from the plastic and you don't want that! Kayte .. .. And, that is why I use MSM instead of DMSO as a transporter. mjh http://foxhillfarm.us/FireBasil/
Guest guest
Didn't they stop using DMSO for arthritis b/c they found high doses were causing cataracts? Maybe at low doses it's fine. MSM is real good for rebuilding tissue, as well as necessary to supply sulfur for joints. It's usually recommended to take it with vitamin C. It's good to take it if you work out too, for extra joint support. Good hangover cure too. Chris

Not all though. BUt some folks with amalgam illness have impaired sulfation pathways. Those with amalgams should note carefully how they react to all these sulfur-based supplements. I WAS using MSM for hangovers, but stopped since I learned that it could possibly be doing me more harm than good. I haven't taken any tests yet to know whether i'm oK with sulfur foods and supps so it's just a guessing game at this time. Suze Fisher Lapdog Design, Inc. Guest guest
I can't use any of the sulfates that are supposed to be good for athritis, etc. I used glucosamine sulfate while undergoing prolotherapy and it seemed to help at that time. I continued to use it at the advice of my doctor. After a time, I started to hurt again. I had switched to a supplement also containing Chonodrotin Sulfate. I quit using that and went back to the Glucosamine by itself and seemed to feel better, but then started hurting again. My doctor gave me MSM to take and, Boy!!, did I have a bad reaction!! It put me into a fibromyalgia flare, the first one I had in years! It took me several months of dietary changes and IV vitamin pushes to get over that! I have tried glucosamine since then, but still can't tolerate it. > Didn't they stop using DMSO for arthritis b/c they found high doses > were causing cataracts?
