yay, kathy! it sounds like you've got it all together!

yeah, 50 hours. and another 3 for the placenta. and not so much as an aspirin!

i was really grateful to my midwife who totally kept her head and didn't

make me transfer. everything was fine, but the war had just started and

some other crappy things, and you can imagine that's not the sort of

environment that makes your body want to open up and surrender the baby.

so, ya know. my advice to future pregnant women? kill your tv. what you

don't know won't stall your labor

My placenta didn't come out ... the doc looked at me, then

punched me in the gut! It popped right out. I have to

say he had awfully good aim ...
