Hi All,

Just wondering your thoughts on drinking Kombucha Tea during

pregnancy? I'm hoping to get pregnant and have been drinking Kombucha

for about a year now and would love to continue. Sally recommends it

for pre-pregnancy, but I don't see any recs during pregnancy in NT. I

have seen warnings against it and am wondering if they are legitimate.

I know in the end this is my decision, but would love to hear some

thoughts from the group!

Thanks,

Hey ,

Kombucha is cleansing, so I wouldn't *start* drinking it during pregnancy

(or at least, start with smaller dosage than you'd otherwise start

with) (just like some other foods, that are healthy in general). If

you're already used to drinking it, it should be fine to continue

drinking it. If you took a break, when would you start Kombucha again,

after the 9 month of being pregnant you are nursing for at least 6

month (as long as you're healthy, it's the best you can do for your

child!)?
