I just read Marie's story - it's heart wrenching. I wanted to strangle her

husband for saying it's all in her head to their minister in front of her

(although technically it WAS *mercury* in her head literally). Makes me

DEEPLY appreciate my BF's support for me in getting my amalgams removed. I

don't have much time otherwise I'd read and study it with you, but if you

want to post anything about it here, I'll probably respond if I can. Right

now I'm preparing to call DAMS tomorrow to discuss the removal protocol that

I should discuss with my dentist. Then I'm going to call my dentist and

another in my area that specializes in mercury amalgam removals. The other

one, I believe, follows the Hal Huggins protocol. After that, I'll select a

dentist and set up my first appt. Can't wait!

Suze, I am way ahead of you. I have called and received the free

packet from DAMS, talked to one of the co-ordinators in person about

their experience. I also have called, ordered and received the packet

from Dr. Huggins office. Got a list of all the Biological dentist in

my area (from DAMS).

I am just blown away with the amount of destruction to one's health

that mercury can cause. We all should be on the band wagon! You are

very lucky to have your BF to be understandable. My DH said I was

going to drive myself crazy researching it! He is being a little more

understanding since I MADE him read some of the info!

Oh you ARE way ahead of me! I'm pretty sure I only have one true biological

dentist in my area though, and will most likely be going to him. And soon -

I'm going to decide next week who to go to and will make an appt then.

Yeh me too. The more stories I read of mercury poisoned folk the more

amazing it is that it's not as widely understood as a major source of health

issues. Kind of like gluten in that regards I guess.

My BF went to another *state* to a biological dentist to have most of his

amalgams removed. He's as dedicated to it as I am :-)

Suze, what I am finding out is that even the biological dentists don't

follow proper protocal for the removal of amalgums, etc! You have to

study the protocal and KNOW it yourself before you ever find a

dentist! Wait until you get the info packet before you call and make

an appointment. Hal Huggins has 2 places in the USA (one is coming up

in May in Tx, the other is in Calif) that he hold clinics at. He makes

sure that the protocal is followed at the clinics. When I talked to

the coordinator of DAMS, she had gone to Mexico to have ALL her work

done at once. At the time that was where Hal Huggins was. The cost was

greatly reduced then. I am cringing to think about how much it will

cost! One person paid $10k several years ago in Mexico versus $30k in

the states she would have paid. Did you see the examples of some

bills in the files on the mercury-chelation group? You have to be rich

to get this done!!

Well, I've been reading every protocol that I can get my hands on, including

Huggins' which I printed out from his website. I have only two dentists in

my area who do this, and I think one has all the proper equipment and the

other one doesn't (I believe). So my choice is limited to one as far as I

can see. However, I've already gotten a run down of that one's protocol and

it sounds like it's Huggins protocol *except* that they want to do before

and after DMSA challenges, which I will refuse to do. Plus, I can always

cancel the appt. if DAMS knows of another dentist in my area that does this,

although it's unlikely as I'm kinda out in the boondocks :-)
