Hey guys,

I had an email today from an ice cream manufacturer here in NZ, who

has been asked to make low GI soft serve ice crema for diabetics in

nursing homes.

He was going to use a combination of aspartame and FOS, but after

reading the page on sweeteners on my website has changed his mind.

Unfortunately stevia (which he thought he'd try) isn't allowed in

manufactured goods in NZ, but I;ve given him a couple of other

suggestions.

How cool is that? (pardon the pun)

Also had an email today from a food technology lecturer at one of

the universities. one of his grad students wants to do some research

on kefir and he wants grains. It's a bit weird, they want to make it

and spray dry it???? But at least they are aware of it, so that's

progress.

sweetners? I think posted some studies on this in regards to pre and

post workout food combos or something.

I couldn't find Chris's thing on honey, but I did send the guy the

link to the article on different sweeteners from the lastest Wise

Traditions.
