Guest guest
<<I hear this quite frequently too and when I recover from the mild shock of it I remind myself that 'normal' is something like diet coke, fritos, doughnuts, etc... jo >> ~~~ some months ago, my 14 y.o. was discussing with his friends the foods they eat at home... having told them what we eat at home, he was asked " do you ever eat any 'normal' food? " unfortunately my kids will not eat liver in any shape of form... it's all my fault for being a vegetarian until 4 yrs ago... I was brought up eating all types of liver dishes and still relish them today. Dedy
Guest guest
>Jo said: > > " One thing I find works when feeding my boyfriend, is not to tell him >what's on his plate. Saying " I warn you, it's liver, you may not >like it " just begs for the reaction " Yuk " ! " You can also make it into something with a nicer name, like Pate'. Those French names are far more aesthetic somehow. BTW I haven't met anyone who dislikes Pate'. There are some recipes where you chop chicken livers with bacon and onions etc. to make a paste, then serve it on crackers. I think the texture of liver, esp. when well cooked. It's kind of dry. -- Heidi Jean
