Guest guest
I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what's going on here. Most every afternoon lately it's like someone lets the air out of me. I get cold and I HAVE to sleep for at least an hour. Bloodwork shows my thyroid is fine, I'm not anemic and my blood sugar is very good. Idears? Guest guest
Hi Lynn, If you typically have a temperature lower than 98.6F, then I wouldn't rule out a thyroid system issue quite yet. I typically have a temperature of 97.7 and I've discovered that this can indicate a thyroid system issue that blood tests won't show! This link will get you to an online book about, but there's more information on the site too. http://www.wilsonssyndrome.com/Products/WTSeBookForFlyLady.htm I've got an appointment next week with a naturopath that follows the protocals outlined by this doctor, so cross your fingers for me! Good luck! Ghislaine --- In , Lynn Siprelle <lynn@s...> wrote: > I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what's going on here. Guest guest
> Not knowing your age. . . maybe it's hormonal. Among my thoughts as well; I'll be 43 on Cinco de Mayo and my set-the-clock-by-them periods have started to get weird on me. I also forgot to mention that I recently reduced (carefully) the amount of Prozac I'm taking, but I never remember this kind of sustained exhaustion. I'm also waking up in the night and not able to go back to sleep for a verrry long time, as I was reminded last night. Guest guest
EXCELLENT - thyroid disease is often not detected by TSH test but can easily be measured by taking temperature. Basal temp (first thing in the morning) is very valuable but I think daily temp average (several temp measurments during the day and averaged) truly reveal Thyroid disease (reverse T3 syndrome). Any average temperature below 98.2 is reverse T3 syndrome in the absence of negative THS tests. Dr. 's protocal is intriguing because he claims to be able to PERMANENTLY cure reverse T3. One must remember that T3 therapy must be done under the supervision of someone who has experience in 's protocal - this treatment can be dangerous if not very carefully monitored. Any underlying heart disease must be ruled out - otherwise T3 supplementation can challenge a weakened heart. Dr. Shames (Thyroid Power) says that about 20% of the patients doing wilson's get permanent cure - another minority have to stop the treatment because of heart complications - rest might get some benefit but it is not permanent and the protocal must be periodically repeated. > > I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what's going on here. > Most > > every afternoon lately it's like someone lets the air out of me. Guest guest
Do read this article on fluoride, Lynn. Some of the mercury poisoning that has been posted lately is interesting, but the toxin fluoride is so pervasive and is found in tea, Prozac, etc and definitely competes with iodine, both 7A elements. Hypothyroid is so rampant now too probably in large part from fluoride poisoning. I for one am happy to be on a well for water (filtered twice). http://www.westonaprice.org/healthissues/flouride.html Deanna -------------------- I also forgot to mention that I recently reduced (carefully) the amount of Prozac I'm taking, but I never remember this kind of sustained exhaustion. Guest guest
Jo So, lots of things to consider: hunger/blood sugar, reaction to coconut oil, poor fat digestion. Oh Jo, Don't give me choices I am not good with choices. I do have low blood sugar. I hate it. I think it is better since I started adding oil in my diet. So the hyperness can be from the coconut oil, or poor fat digestion? Really can you tell me more or send me a link? Thanks Sheryl Sheryl Illustrations http://dovedesignsrus.com
