Tina-my children both tested very high for this. In boys, it

can cause speech and behavior problems. in girls, it can precipitate

a crisis during times of stress. If you type pyroluria or kryptopyrrole

into your web browser, you'll get several sites to pop up. If

there are people in your/your husband's family with " bipolar "

depression, schizophrenia, etc, it may be genetic. If not, it's

possible that the abberant porphyrin profile could be from mercury.

Hello all. Does anyone have info on pyroluria. Pfeiffer put this

down

as one of my son's problems. They said it's genetic. To me, that

means it was not caused by mercury, bad diet, lack of supplements.

But the aftermath of pyroluria does deplete the body of B6 and

zinc.

Any additional info or websites would be greatly appreciated.

Have a

great day. Tina

However that may be down to the zinc/glutamine supplements that I've

I think I missed this thread. . .I did some research and think

myself and my son have this. I searched for the thread on the group

message site and came up empty. . .

Is is diagnosed by symptoms or is there a test?
