Guest guest
Tina-my children both tested very high for this. In boys, it can cause speech and behavior problems. in girls, it can precipitate a crisis during times of stress. If you type pyroluria or kryptopyrrole into your web browser, you'll get several sites to pop up. If there are people in your/your husband's family with " bipolar " depression, schizophrenia, etc, it may be genetic. If not, it's possible that the abberant porphyrin profile could be from mercury. --- Original Message --- tinalunabean <lolabryn@...> Wrote on Tue, 08 Apr 2003 13:00:50 +0000 ------------------ Hello all. Does anyone have info on pyroluria. Pfeiffer put this down as one of my son's problems. They said it's genetic. To me, that means it was not caused by mercury, bad diet, lack of supplements. But the aftermath of pyroluria does deplete the body of B6 and zinc. Any additional info or websites would be greatly appreciated. Have a great day.
