Guest guest
I've just finished planting the onions and the first bout of salad greens, squeaking it all in before forecast rain for the next few days. *winks briefly at Mr. for use of " natural " watering* I've planted both spinach and a mesclun mix that includes bok choi. I know that bok choi is supposed to be real bad for me raw, but how much is really bad? Do ya think it's okay in such small amounts (by volume, it's 16.6% of the seed). And as far as the spinach goes, I've heard that I'm supposed to avoid it, but I don't know why. It's not a brassica, for one thing, and if I'm supposed to avoid it, is there a difference between cooked and raw as with brassicas? And isn't there some odd myth about spinach and iron? Why must I avoid me spinach? It makes me salads taste so gooooooooooodddd!!!!! Any help/insights are appreciated. Thanks! MFJ Any moment in which you feel like dancing is a perfect moment.
