Guest guest
How do you test it. Whereabouts do you buy yours from? Kirsty x Subject: Epsom Salt - be carefulTo: Autism-Biomedical-Europe Date: Thursday, 4 December, 2008, 1:06 PM Be very careful where you buy your Epsom Salt. Only uses a trusted source. Almost all industrially harvested Epsom Salt contains mercury (which means that you are carrying in mercury and other impurities through the skin rather than taking it out – osmosis works both ways.) Many natural Epsom salts contain other random heavy metals in the crystalline structure. The only true way to know whether there is mercury in your Epsom salt is – unfortunately – by testing the batch. Christiane
Guest guest
I wouldn't recommend buying the cheaper Epsom Salts on Ebay. They are sold from an alternative treatment facility but they are not BP grade. The ones from Just a Soap are more expensive (marginally) but they are the same manufacturer as the Ebay ones but the Just a Soap is BP grade which is a better grade. (and less likely to be contaminated with other toxins) I've looked into the mercury connection and frankly, having your salts tested for mercury is going a bit far for me! I think this one has reached the proportions of urban myth...it started out slightly more benign (being only ES in Australia contained mercury) then reached the proportions that all ES were potential for mercury poisoning. You follow these things for a while on the biomed lists and you can watch a truth grow and expand.... Darla > > Be very careful where you buy your Epsom Salt.
