Guest guest
And almonds. Bob's diet is a lot " stricter " than other metabolic diets, including Wolcott's. For example, he doesn't allow grains at all for hunter gatherers, whereas all other metabolic diets I've seen do allow some. As far as being acid making, maybe they would be for a vegetarian who was Agriculturist (I suspect most aren't). Wolcott says foods can be acid making for one person and alkalinising (sp?) for the next, depending on their type. I have no doubt that there are different metabolic types (I see it every day under my own roof, which makes things tricky sometimes), buit the more I read about it, the more I think that STILL none of them have put their finger on the right WHY. (as in the right specific mechanism) cheers, deb > > It's hard to find stuff on Walt's site, so with Bob's permission I > > transferred everything he wrote about elimination diets and > > metabolic typing to my site, where it;s much easier to read.
