~Heidi/Helga is the absolute positive source for anything involving gluten.

Actually, anything NOT involving gluten.

~I cannot eat a salad without hearing a voice in my head saying " these

sprouts are still growing as they enter your mouth. " I cannot THINK

about eating a salad without hearing a voice in my head saying " these

sprouts are still growing as they enter your mouth. " I cannot plant a

thing without hearing a voice in my head saying " these sprouts are still

growing as they enter your mouth. " I cannot shop at an Asian or Indian

market without hearing a voice in my head saying " these sprouts are still

growing as they enter your mouth. "

~Do not go shopping at a new-to-you organic market shortly after joining

this list and/or buying NT. You will find yourself the proud owner of

lots of things like spelt flour and sorghum which you still have not used

two months later.

~DO, however, buy the VCO and have lots of fun with it, if only for the aroma.

~I cannot even contemplate any type of food without wondering about the

source. This makes eating out or at a friend's house very interesting.

~Katja luuuuuuurrrrves her some beets.

~There are a bazillion good sig lines out there, if you only pay attention

for long enough. Sometimes simple, but apropos. See below.

~Contemplating the source of some food or other makes me hear a voice in my

head saying " These sprouts are still growing as they enter your mouth. "

~If it's not THAT voice, it's the voice that says " Raw liver, yummmmmmmmm. "

(That one is quite disturbing.)

~Curry is vastly underrated in the general populace.

~Ice cream is gooooooooooooooooooood. (Wait, no, that was the raw dairy

list, so sorry!)

~Kefir is the most wonderfully versatile thing since sliced GF bread.

~It is impossible for me to make Sally Fallon's unsoaked brown rice without

ending up with a nice burnteded crust on the bottom.

~That's okay, though, I was never successful at getting good sizzling rice

either. ;)

~I'm going to have to get around to trying sashimi again.

~I have begun coveting cast iron anything.

~There is an internal (in my head) contest going on between two people

regarding loquacious and ... interesting ... descriptions of food. Time

will tell whether the winner will be Mr. or Ms. Fisher.

~I will never look at a bug, ever again, in quite the same way. Cicadas,

anyone?

~When I go to work and see the little bitty waterbugs skipping about the

water gardens/ponds, I can't help thinking " naw, they're not big enough " .

~I don't need to buy the WD book, everything I need to know about it has

been discussed on this list. ;)

~Does spending four hours moving waterlogged plant flats about the place

count as " lifting weights " ?

~Does anyone hear that voice? I think my salad is talking to me.

MFJ

Wheeeeee! ~Katja
