Hey Fern, did your bloating and stinky armpit problems start happening around the same time? I have both of those issues too, and IIRC, I think they both started within a few months of each other. Do you have any other issues, if I may ask? I'm just wondering if we're experiencing a similar root problem. I used to be losing too much hair and my nails used to chip off easily, but those two issues seem to be clearing up. I also used to get tingling hands when I slept, but that's a rarity now. I do have low thyroid function, but am on Armour thyroid. Those are the main issues that I'm experiencing. Oh, and sometimes my stool is loose, but PD almost always solves that. Hm, they very likely could have, though I don't really recall. > Do you have any other > issues, if I may ask? I'm just wondering if we're experiencing a similar > root problem. Yes, I've also had low thyroid, but I've been taking Thyrostim by Biotics Research for that, which seems to be really helping it. For awhile I'd been losing some hair, but that also seems to be clearing up. I've had more problems with dry hair than losing it, though. I also have a problem with estrogen dominance and using progesterone cream has really helped that a lot. For a while I was battling terrible headaches, but I think I've narrowed that down to when I wasn't using enough of the progesterone cream. As far as stools, I seem to vascilate between loose stools and borderline constipation. So ... there does seem to be some similarities. But I have no idea really what the root cause might be. I've assumed it was different causes for some of them, but they may be all more related than I thought if you have some of the same symptoms also. Do you use a CRT or LCD monitor? Some time ago I realized that every time sat down in front of my 21 " CRT monitor I felt exhausted. It was almost an immediate thing as soon as I sat down. If I got up and did something else, I felt better. Then a friend informed me that CRTs give off much more EMFs than LCD monitors do. When I got an LCD monitor, I noticed a huge difference. So perhaps electromagnetic fields are part of the culprit, as I've got way too much electronic equipment plugged in all around me. But now this thing with my upper gut has me wondering even more about an IgA allergy. I know that wheat has given me a problem for quite some time, and lately I was getting more suspicious about casein, as I've been consuming more cow milk products (including kefir) and I just haven't been feeling as well, except for the headaches, which are mostly gone. I've also had some achiness and for a long time have had problems with tightness in my neck and shoulders. That could be stress related though, and also a result of sitting in front of the computer all day, though I don't understand why for days it's fine, and then all of a sudden it flares up again. Guess I too need to start keeping a food diary. Perhaps some things would come to light a bit more quickly. ~ Fern
