Guest guest
Sara, Sorry, not used ear defenders but just to share, Norman was similar, he used to get totally distressed by the sound of a baby crying, even children's voices, we'd have to make a quick exit wherever we were otherwise he would not stop. This problem prevented us going to any parent & toddler groups or anywhere with children. We did AIT (at age 3yrs) and the sensitivity stopped (it maybe helped him to cope better and now he will just go very quiet, he will not move from where he is but just retreats into himself if children are noisy and boisterous). > > > > Has anyone ever used ear defenders or anything similar to combat sound > sensitivities? Tom goes berserk when he hears (a baby) crying and it > would be great to be able to block the sound out for him. (His > sensitivities come and go. They are very bad at the moment) > Sara >
