Guest guest
Well I'm ready to seriously consider adding organ meats to our diet. Where do you guys get them from? Is there an online source of good quality frozen grass-fed organ meats? I heard that buffalo liver is easier to eat than beef liver - where would you get that? And what about sweetbreads? I ate them when I was growing up in Hong Kong, but haven't seen them since. Thanks, Ann
Guest guest
Ann, Go to www.eatwild.com and look at the farm profiles close to you (I assume you're in the U.S.) Then start making phone calls and sending emails to folks. Even if they don't list organ meats on their website, they will probably have them if they are butchering animals. Ask questions: what percentage of the animal's diet is fresh growing grass? Do the pigs stay outside in sunshine most of the time? Etc.
