Guest guest
Dear all, My son has had worms 5 times in the last 10 months. Probably keep picking it up at his school as we treat him and are very hygenic and all treat ourselves but some of the kids in his class have speacial needs parents themselves and do not even get their clothes washed, let alone their bed sheets and treated. Anyway, this last case seems alot worse than he has ever had them. I treated him with a mebendazole tablet on wed night when we discovered he had them again. Then last night he was in agony again so i gave him this time a spoonful of the liquid mebendazole. I have been giving him melatonin to help him sleep through this. Tonight i have seen when he went to the loo loads of live ones in there and he is still very very gaitated by them. especially since he has just been to the loo. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to go (even in a serious case) and also i have put on him the cream Eurax to stop the itching and it seems to have worked for now. Anything else i can do or anything i have done wrong? I am very new to the bio med side. I have an appointment to see Jean in Dec. Sam has been on the scd diet for 2 and a half years now and has never had medicine except to treat the worms. Thanks Kirsty x Ps. Trust it concide with firework night, keeps waking him up!!!!
