Guest guest
I wonder if anyone here can share with me if your child experiences excessive (90%) stimming after starting BIO-MED intervention?I am a little worried because I am not sure if this is acceptable. However, when he is in the classroom, he seems to be interacting and engaging!!?@@** & %? >>Stimming could be his way of dealing with new feelings, good ones but different then he is used to. Often times conformng int he classroom can be stressful, excessive stimming afterwards could be his way of chilling out after a 'stressful' day Mandi x

Guest guest
I found B6 made Edith v hyper. I think it is generally advised to supplement all the Bvits together because otherwise a big dose of one throws the others out of kilter. What sort of stimming is it? sally candicecbt wrote: > > Hi all, > > I wonder if anyone here can share with me if your child experiences > excessive (90%) stimming after starting BIO-MED intervention? > > I am a little worried because I am not sure if this is acceptable. > However, when he is in the classroom, he seems to be interacting and > engaging!!?@@** & %? > > Look forwards to hearing from you. > > God bless, > candice > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG - http://www.avg.com > Version: 8.0.176 / Virus Database: 270.9.16/1842 - Release Date: 10/12/2008 18:53 > >
Guest guest
candice, What biomed interventions are u using? Have your started something new recently and does this tie in with the increased stimming? Guest guest
Just a thought - too much soya was involved in stimming for us. Best wishes, Sandy

Guest guest
At home my son's stimming includes 'writing in the air'(yes, this is something new!!) and 'eyes rolling and repeating various sounds'. When he does that, I just can't get his attention at all. However, when I mention certain words(threat?), he will give me the attention immediately. (??) At school, I was told he is as 'normal' as other children, playing together and following classroom routine very well. Yes, he does find school stressful because he will try to hide in his bedroom when I mention it is time to go to school. All in all, awareness and appropriate behaviour increased, but spontaneous language reduced. Soya is not the issue as he has soya milk powder from very little. His supplements are arctic cod liver oil, Vital 10 powder, magnesium citrate, vitamin C , metronidazole suspension 200mg, Nystatin powder, Saccharomyces boulardii, Co Q 10, L- carnitine, Reduced glutathione liquid, Supernuthera with P5P liquid multivitamin, B12. Not sure which supplement is the cause, but he is definitely much more stimmy since we implement these supplements. Constipation is still as usual, every 5-7days!
