Thanks for the link Deb. I've been wanting to try making pemmican with coconut oil and some very lean buffalo hamburger I have. I wonder about the oil having a low melting point though, and if that might be a problem. I was thinking of experimenting with adding some bees wax to it to bring up the melting point.
