Guest guest
Hi, I thought you would like an update on my husband's sleep test. Well I'm at this site because he has chronic pain, and now we assume extreme sleep apnea. He had the test Sunday the 11th. The sleep clinic is three and one half hours away. Nothing is close to where we live. He had a regular doctors appointment for the 22nd. They called him and had him come in thursday to discuss his sleep apnea. They didn't have the reports yet but the sleep clinic wants him on a CPAP machine ASAP. We are impressed they seem genuenly concerned. So much is said negetivly against doctors I thought I would add something positive. We are hoping this will help his blood pressure and allow him to get some sleep. We had no idea how serious this was we thank God that something is being done. His blood pressure is also down some due to the meds, that is very good as this has been extremely stressful week. This is the first Father's Day without our son. Just a couple more notes of advice chronic pain usually equates some high blood pressure and sleep problems. If you do go to a sleep clinic get a doctor referal and go to an accreiated clinic. Thank you for your concern. kat
