Mostly my left - I'm left-handed too, and use the mouse all day in my work, which I think aggravates it. This condition is referred to as " peripheral neuropathy " I believe. One thing that can cause it is diabetes. But in my case I think it's probably amalgam (mercury) poisoning. This is one of the symptoms as mercury damages the nervous system. If you have mercury exposure (it's in many things besides amalgams and seafood) that might be on possibility to consider. As for B6, I haven't heard of it's use in peripheral neuropathy, but I don't know much about the condition, so that's not really saying anything. Guest guest
I've had that problem after a car accident...the chiropractor helped a lot. Guest guest
Funny you should mention that.... My dh is presently recovering from a benign brain tumour (I tell you, healing these things naturally is a long, slow process, and sometimes there are days he ALMOST wishes he had the surgery!!). Anyway he also has adrenal fatigue and we recently added in some supplements for that - incl B6 in the P5P form. He has had an improvement in fatigue but a worsening of head pain. Just this week, after a few days off his supplements, he took them again and by mid afternoon his pain and mood were considerably worse. Did some reading and found that although B6 is recommended for some nerve problems and for carpal tunnel syndrome, high doses (1000mg) that weren't offset by other Bs could cause nerve problems (that are luckily reversible). So that seems to be the culprit, even though he wasn;t taking anywhere near the dose that was mentioned as dangerous. hasn't started adding other supp back in yet, which will test it, but my $$ is on the B6. Which doesn't mean you'll get the same thing, Suze, but any worsening of symptoms, I'd be looking at that. Looks like it's good in small doses, balanced with other b's but ya gotta watch it.... deb --- In , Lampinen <lampinen@s...> wrote: > Well I just found this which says that B6 can CAUSE peripheral neuropathy! > > http://www.atdn.org/simple/neurop.html > > Helen >

That was J - her doc wants her to take B-6 for her tingly arms. I think the person who's post you responded to was really responding to , not me although she quoted my post too. Musical posts! LOL! But I do take a multi-vit (dr. ron's) with the full B complex. I don't take any single B vits. My way of trying to " cure " my tingly arms is to have my amalgams out and detox the mercury in my body. IF I still have the condition after all that, then I'll look at other therapies. Suze Fisher Lapdog Design, Inc. Web Design & Development http://members.bellatlantic.net/~vze3shjg Weston A. B6, and the other B vitamins, work on the nervous system in various ways, and higher doses of them are used to treat all kinds of stuff (like, joint pain, alcoholism ...) -- Heidi Jean
