, do you know for sure that she CAN breathe through her nose, that is if she wanted to?

I’ve always had this problem, it was esp bad when I was a child and I had to have an operation to surgically open up nasal passage/clear the obstruction (something called ‘polip’, probably latin no idea what it would be in English) - I could not breath through nose even if I wanted to, it wasn’t a question of choice or training. It wasn’t as bad that I had to eat with open mouth but still bad.

even now I could not breathe through nose for more than a minute or so without breathing in through mouth occassionally...

Tap your finger lightly along each lip once a day - this is what the

HANDLE man told me to do about Tom's pica. His reaction was dramatic -

he started playing with his mouth and my mouth and other people's mouths

as if he's only just noticed them - he does lots of stretching type

'excercises' of his own accord. I think the pica goes when we do it and

comes back when we forget but I am too disorganised to be sure of that

-sorry. worth a try though.
