Guest guest
Hi there. I'm new to the group and think it'll be good. I don't currently have Sally Fallon's book (it's on my long shopping list), but from what I've heard it contains information that I would like. On a related note I'm heavily into food fermentation (nature love it!). I currently cutlure kombucha, kefir, yoghurt, sourdough and various others (love them all!). From my experience it's quite hard to get mother cultures and other supplies for ferments down here in AUSTRALIA..! I've only recently received starting material for viili and fil mjolk, and these had to come from USA (14 days in the mail . The viili seems to have survived (it's cooool!) but I don't think the fil mjolk will work (SIGH). Does anyone on the list live in AUSTRALIA and culture fil mjolk (or other scandinavian cultured milks)? I'm desperately wanting to culture these superb products but need the starting material. If someone can try to share some with me I'd greatly apprecieate it, and of course provide for any re-imbursment/cost. Thanks, Grant AUSTRALIA gdadams@...
