Deficiency of vitamin B5 With Vitamin B5 in short supply symptoms like fatigue, headaches, nausea, tingling in the hands, depression, personality changes and cardiac instability have been reported. Frequent infection, fatigue, abdominal pains, sleep disturbances and neurological disorders including numbness, paresthesia (abnormal sensation such as " burning feet " syndrome), muscle weakness and cramps are also possible indications that this nutrient is in short supply. Biochemical changes include increased insulin sensitivity, lowered blood cholesterol, decreased serum potassium, and failure of adrenocorticotropin to induce eosinopenia. Dosage Hope this helps

Now THAT one was probably because I was running in thin-soled shoes on concrete, and got an inflammation on the fascia. My daughter got something similar, but that one was due to a growth spurt, and the doctor prescribed stretching exercises (which worked). However, in the gluten intolerance group people get a sort of pain in the foot as a side effect ... maybe from vitamin deficiencies. I think taking B vitamins and doing stretching isn't a bad first attack ... I'll guess the doc will prescribe anti-inflammatories (which can work well too, tho it's good to remember that foods like blueberries are darn good anti-inflammatories). -- Heidi Jean
Guest guest
If you're not sure it's not athlete's foot, try applying rubbing alcohol or coconut oil. Both work for us for the occasional bout of athlete's foot. Also scrub the bathtub/shower and wash the bathmats. My dh washes his (running) shoes practically every time he wears them, then sets them out in the sun to dry. > > >> My daughter has been complaining lately that the soles of her feet > >> feel like they are burning.
