Guest guest
I believe that can be done...anything that can keep the food at a constant temperature once you do it. You don't need an electric yogurt maker. Has anyone heard of the Yogotherm? It's really just a big plastic container with styrofoam layering that incubates yogurt, kefir, etc. For yogurt, you heat in a saucepan to the desired temperature, pour into the Yogotherm, and let sit for the proscribed time. The Yogotherm keeps the liquid at a constant temperature. I've used it for buttermilk and kefir, but have not yet tried yogurt. Joan > Has anyone used a stainless-steel thermos for making yogurt?
