It's spam. I did join and then left. Only the 'moderator' can post.

There were six messages, and more were to come, clearly headed

toward selling some aloe/sea vegetable product.

I do see from their home page that " Only the moderator may post " .

So it's an announcement list and not a discussion list.

It looks like some kind of commercial thing selling supplements most likely.

At

http://add./cct/feedback.php

you can complain to about them, as it is not ok to send

invitations around like that, to people you don't know and didn't ask

for it.

Hi, you can stop group moderators from sending you invitations to join their

groups.

Go to email preferences myprefs

This gives a list of the email address/addresses that has registered for

you.

The last column on that page is titled options and below it there is a link that

says edit.

Clicking that link will bring you to the next page where the first option listed

is Group Invitations.

Uncheck the boxes there to disallow moderators from adding you to their lists or

inviting you to join.

Yeah, saw that, but I do want to be invited to groups. Just only when

it makes sense. Like when I ask something OT in one group and someone

suggests another group that would be more helpful with answering that

question.
