Guest guest Posted December 21, 2008 Report Share Posted December 21, 2008 ---in fairness when pecs is used correctly, using the child's motivation and language is used when the child gives or initially prompted to give the pecs card, and so for many it becomes easier to say the word which is the whole aim of any augmentative method, Which kid is going to get excited about using the card/word " toilet " ?? " wait " .... as their first words.?
