Guest guest
Hi everyone, particularly those dealing with eczema, I have written previously about the strong healing effect that Primal Defense had on my son's facial eczema - it totally eliminated it after taking 2-3 tablets for 2 days. If I stopped taking the product, the eczema returned. (I had tried a number of other probiotics, they did not work. I even tried a probiotic from Natren - a company known for their expertise in probiotics, didn't work either. Until taking PD, the only other thing that helped clear my son's eczema was raw fermented sauerkraut). After an unexpected turn of events (picking up parasites in Mexico) - I was unable to take Primal Defense for a while. Actually, it was while I was on a parasite cleanse that included a particular product (Colon Cleanse, 6-N-1). This product, as I was told by a clinic, would wipe out the Primal Defense colonies; hence it was pointless and an expensive waste for me to continue taking PD. (The clinic told me they called The Garden of Life company and verified with them that certain components of the cleanse product destroyed the PD colonies). The clinic: http://www.naturalhealingctr.com/ Eventually, after about 1.5 - 2mos, the eczema on my son's face began to reappear. I was still fighting parasites and was given a probiotic by an alternative practitioner. She told me this probiotic was a human strain of bacteria (that is taken from a human), that it was a very strong strain, and once the colonies were established, they would remain in the intestines forever, unless I took antibiotics, which would destroy them. The doctor: http://www.naturalhorizonswellness.com/gennaro1.htm The probiotics are made by Genestra. I was instructed to take RMF Replete, 1/2 packet once daily for 14 days (seven packets in a box). After that, I was to take RMF Superpowder, 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon daily (until 120g container was empty). A website that sells these probiotics: http://www.rockwellnutrition.com/hmfreplete.shtml I wanted to pass this information along first, because the Genestra probiotics are much less expensive than a lifetime supply of Primal Defense, and second because of the post regarding concerns about the Primal Defense product. I am still taking the container of Superpowder and am anxious to see if the eczema returns when I stop taking the product. Presumably, if these colonies have also lined his gut, he should be eczema-free, hopefully forever. I'm really excited about this possibility, years from now, he will no longer be nursing and I would love to know that he has his a little colony of health in his body. Guest guest
As a backup to your other self treatments, you may want to try using real home-fermented kefir rubbed into the skin in the manner of a skin lotion. You can make kefir anywhere at room temperature easily from a few kefir " grains " and any type of milk you have onhand in 12-24 hours. Kefir contains DOZENS of types of symbiotic, probiotic microbes. Oh, and you can cook with it and drink it too. Guest guest
Why does this post sound like a commercial advertisement disguised as a real post? Guest guest
Darrell, It's not. It's from my sister in Virginia. If you have any further questions, you can direct them my way, as the ONLY reason she posted the response was because of an email from the group that I forwarded to her.
