Guest guest
Update: I took my dh to the emergency room this morning. It's been a long time since we have been to a doctor and the experience was very good! They did a CBC and a CMP and some other tests that we will get the results back in a few days. Everything was normal except the white cell count. It was a little off. They did not say what it was. I asked for copies and was told that they could only give copies to an MD. They suspect a bacterial infection from the tick bite but don't think it is Lyme disease (suggested rock mountain spotted fever) so they put him on 100mg capsules of Doxycycline 2x a day. We are continuing 3 T of CS daily and will take a strong acidophilus. Day 4 and he is still running a fever, not eating, in bed all day and all night. He loves to read and has not been doing that. He likes TV too but has not done that. Has lost 11-12 lbs. He only weighted 180 when this stated. So we are very concerned. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Guest guest
I dont' know exactly. I would post your question on these list for ideas. Tick bites can lead to arthritis down the road. Learn what you can now to prevent it. A lot of people with a lot of info to offer. http://rs.option8.net/ http://www.roadback.org/ Chris
Guest guest
I feel your concern, thanks so much. I believe he is better today! It will be amazing if he is. I have learned that all ppl should take antobiotics *everytime* they get a tick bite. The tick bite does not have to affect you right away. It can happen down the road anytime. Don't wait!
