Guest guest
Overnight, my boy who is almost 6 decided he learned how to poop in the toilet. 2 weeks ago, he decided to quietly slip into the toilet, do his business (even attempted to wipe) and hey presto, that was the start of it.! I didnt really do a " program " on this - he kind of learned it by osmosis and also by removing all nappies. I was fuelling his disorganisation by having a nappy on after he ate or got oxypowder. With no nappy he somehow figured that the toilet would be easier. I have noticed with my boy when I let go of the frustration and anxiety he will just " do " things - attitude is so important in our relationship. (mine) this bit of progress has changed my life - my floorboards will never be the same after the " waxing " he has given them over the years, but we have finally cracked it. Just to give some of you some hope.
