I like the term you used – ‘annual preventative visit’ – that more accurately describes the visit. Most of the time, they come in for it, but the 13-40 yo men are hard to get in, unless they need a sports physical or a limb is falling off. Most of my patients are prevention oriented, so it’s usually not that hard to get them in. Some of the insurances (Kaiser, United) are even waiving their copays for that visit. A.
