Guest guest
When I first opened, I placed ads in the local newspaper. I asked various family friends of ours if they would be willing to be in the photo, which was basically showing a happy family. I didn't include my own photo. After the ads ran, our friends who were in the ad would later comment on how many people would come up to them and say, "I didn't know your <husband/wife/father/mother> was a doctor." After about 4 of those ads ran, with 4 different families, and continued comments like that, I eventually included my own (small) photo to avoid the confusion. I suppose if I saw an ad/website for a doctor, I might assume that there would be a picture of the doctor, too. , I just thought that the quality of your own photo didn't quite match the photographic quality of the other photos on your website. If your website is going to be a major way that patients find you, you want to make a good first impression. SetoSouth Pasadena, CAI meant to mention that too, .I thought you were the lady in the picture on the home page, too.:-)<710411521> <710411521> Don't take all the comments wrong. You've gotten a lot of constructive criticism of the site, but I think all of us think the look and content of the site is pretty awesome overall. Good luck with your first few weeks. Hope you get off to a great start.
Guest guest
Hi - nice website, it really flows. I was thinking about when you have other people coverin for you- your website says that those calls will be forwarded. I think it might work better (when you build up) if the calls go to an answering machine that say something like 'dr Malm is out of town until ...., for routine issues please call back after..., if your issue requires urgent medical care please call dr ......' Otherwise lots of the routine stuff will ring through and your coverage will not be as happy. This method cuts down on the actual calls to 0-2 per day.
