As far as a typical day I can tell you what was eaten today:

Breakfast- baked wild salmon with orange juice mustard glaze, foraged

fiddlehead ferns (steamed and tossed with lemon & olive oil

Snack: 1 pear, small handful crispy almonds

Lunch: Turkey and wild mushroom soup, braised kale in broth

Dinner is going to be a stirfry of grass fed bison and assorted vegetables

and kimchi

I'm sure I'll be tempted to have a few berries for dessert!

Hello Everyone,

Have any of you ever had dark circles under your eyes which

dissappeared when eating the NT way? What food groups do you focus

on? Have you had any thyroid problems in the past which the NT diet

was able to address? What about adrenal issues? If there's anyone out

there who feels especially healthy and has been eating this way for a

long time, I'd love to hear what a typical meal is like for you.

Thanks in advance,

The dark circles are often a sign of sinusitis ... my kids get them

reliably when they have a sinus infection. The infection is often

a result of a food allergy, or it can happen after a cold. I suspect

that Price's " narrow face " syndrome contributes a lot to it too,

and super-dry rooms in winter.

We all got a lot healthier by cleaning up our diet. We eat mainly

meats and vegies, the food is pretty normal by most standards.

Dinner is usually something like steak and potatoes, stew,

smoked salmon with broccoli. I do the Warrior diet too,

so breakfast is just some fruit, and lunch is a big salad. As you

probably figured out by now, we DON'T do " gluten grains "

(wheat/barley/rye) but I do make gooey desserts now and then

and bread for the family. We also eat kimchi, kraut, and probiotic

" kefir beer " , and kefir cream for sour cream, and kefir ice cream.
